Our Story
Founder Daniel Harper spent years working on fitted interiors and kitchen improvement projects around Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire before starting Kitchen Refurbishment Milton Keynes in 2018. He kept encountering homes where the kitchens had become tired in stages. A worktop had worn out, cabinet fronts looked dated, handles had loosened and storage no longer suited the household, yet the basic cabinets or layout were still perfectly serviceable. Daniel felt there should be a straightforward local service focused on improving those kitchens rather than treating full replacement as the default.
Milton Keynes became the natural centre of the business because Daniel had already spent much of his working life in and around the area. Over time, projects extended into Bletchley, Stony Stratford, Newport Pagnell, Wolverton, Olney, Woburn Sands and nearby Leighton Buzzard. Working across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area exposed the team to a broad mixture of property ages and kitchen layouts, reinforcing the idea that refurbishment has to begin with the room that is actually there.
Daniel now works with project coordinator Sophie Bennett and installer Callum Wright. Together they keep the business deliberately straightforward: listen carefully, define the work clearly, retain sound elements where appropriate and pay attention to the details that make a refurbished kitchen feel complete. The team sees kitchen work as a practical trade first. Good design matters, but so do accurate fitting, sensible sequencing, usable storage and a room that still feels right after the novelty of the new finishes has worn off.
